Back again
Hi. I'm back!
I haven't posted on here for a while. I've been really busy with everything! Other things are calming down now and things are moving on business-wise. I'm not going to say much now, but all will be revealed soon enough.
I have been beavering away making jewellery. I'll be posting pictures bit by bit, rather than putting all the pictures up at once.
Each day, I will be posting a picture of an item, or set, of jewellery, and the item, or set, I post will be on sale from that day. Prices will be alongside each picture. If you contact me to buy within 24 hours of the picture being posted, you will get it for half price!!!
I won't just be posting on here though. The daily pictures will also be on facebook and twitter.
Keep your eye out to get a bargain!
Ciao for now
xx

The bracelet. Not bad for a first attempt
The earrings. Much better than the bracelet. The ring is the same as the earrings
The necklace. Simple and effective.

Post Christmas
Now that Christmas has been and gone, I thought I should find time to post. The last Christmas card order I filled generated a little more business for me. That same person ordered some jewellery as well. I was a bit worried when I gave her one of the pieces because I wasn't 100% happy with it. The problem I had was snow. I couldn't get out to a local supplier and I couldn't rely on deliveries from online suppliers. I had to make it from beads I already had. I know I could have done a better job if I had the chance to buy more beads for it. It turned out that didn't matter. She was really pleased with it. Her exact reaction was "Wow! I'm going to be posh!". Not bad for something I just threw together.
The new year is upon us. I have had a bit of a break from crafting and now I'm ready to get back to it, especially as the kids go back to school tomorrow. I bought some oven drying clay and made a necklace, bracelet, earring and ring set out of it. The bracelet that I made first looks a bit of a mess, but, as I got used to it, the other items came out better. I am just waiting for the sun to come up so I can take photo's in natural light, then I will post them on here and on my facebook page. I will be getting more clay, in other colours, and making more things, not just jewellery.
I am also going to start shopping for a bigger loom. It will be good to have a focus for the new year but I will have to decide what I will be doing, and when, otherwise I will spend all my time on one thing and not doing anything else.
I am also going to find a course on online businesses so I can learn the best way to advertise and really get things moving.

The "Mother" Part
Well, I knew it would happen, and it did. My business had to be put on the backburner so I could be a mother. Not just a mother, but a daughter as well.
I was just getting into it when the kid's decided to be ill. Not all at the same time and not just one bug. It seemed like one or other of them was ill for quite a while. If they were ok, I was ill. We finally got rid of the bug's and my dad became ill!
It is really hard to find the time and the energy to be creative when looking after ill children or worrying about my unwell dad.
I've, somehow, managed to fill two card orders though. I'm quite pleased with that. Also, some of the jewellery I made is selling.
Things are moving. Slowly but surely. After Christmas, I think I may buy a bigger loom and make some wall hangings. They will take a while but they will be really impressive (I hope) and will sell for a tidy profit.
